Descripción de la oferta: The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients, students, staff, and visitors at the UAGM-SDM clinic. This role ensures smooth front-office operations, effective coordination between scheduling, clinic staff, and student providers, and accurate management of administrative tasks. Greet and welcome patients, students, faculty, and visitors; manage the check-in/check-out process. Manage and maintain the appointment scheduling system: schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed; coordinate with student providers, supervising faculty, and the scheduling team. Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries; triage requests to appropriate departments (clinic, academic office, billing, etc.). Maintain accurate patient records and front-desk logs; ensure intake forms, consent forms, insurance/billing information, and treatment plans are properly collected and filed. Assist with student and patient orientation, provide information on clinic protocols, appointment procedures, and general guidance. Coordinate with clinical and academic staff to support daily clinic flow; notify relevant staff of schedule changes, student availability, or patient needs. Manage front-office supplies, clerical tasks (filing, data entry, correspondence), and general administrative support. Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with data-protection and institutional policies at all times (FERP, HIPPA) Assist Dental Records Coordinator in maintenance and creation of specialty reports.

Responsabilidades: Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. One (1) year of experience in front-desk, reception, or administrative roles, ideally in a healthcare, dental, or academic setting. Experience working in a dental or medical clinic, or academic health-care institution, preferred. Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and ability to interact with patients, students, faculty, and staff. Familiarity with dental clinic workflow, terminology, and patient documentation, preferred. Ability to multitask, manage scheduling conflicts, remain organized and detail oriented. Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Knowledge and experience in the use and management of technological and programmed equipment. Familiarity with office software (MS Office / Google Workspace), scheduling systems, and basic data entry / record-keeping. Excellent oral and written communication skills, in Spanish and English. Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred. Availability to work flexible hours, night shifts, weekends, or according to the need of service.
