My name is Jarelis Nazario Diaz, and I will briefly share my “Success Story” of the AMSI program. First of all, I became aware of AMSI because I had seen advertisements related to job offers on their Facebook page. I decided to apply for employment and currently participate in the Career DWG Program who received my application and provided me with the opportunity to find transitional employment with the company Propulsa located in Guaynabo, PR. The position for which I was recruited was for Social Assistant/Community Liaison under the Sociants Platform project. Thanks to this opportunity I have been generating income that allows me to meet my financial commitments as well as contribute to my family (in this case mainly to my mother) and also to be able to participate in a conversational English course.
However, my future plan is to be considered to continue working for Propulsa as a regular employee and receive all the benefits of the company. Likewise, continue with my current professional studies in Digital Marketing and then specialize in Neuropsychology. No less important to save little by little to be able to make several trips to different countries, since for several years I have been interested in doing it with my family… And achieve many other personal goals.
Finally, something very important for me is that thanks to being employed again I was able to start a process to adopt; being employed is part of the requirements.
