Business incubator
AMSI’s Business Incubator offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to set up their business in a locale for a determined period of time, at a beneficial cost to start the business and for it to prosper according to the achievement of the projections established in the short and medium term. Participants get a private space with reception, data and telephone services at a convenient cost, as well as professional assistance and support from AMSI, Inc. staff.
How to participate in the program
Those interested in being part of this initiative should preferably be residents of the Municipality of Cayey and have completed an entrepreneurship workshop. Applications will be considered from companies related to the industrial sector of administrative or office services (those where the activities do not generate strong odors or noise).

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Public Law 113-128,was signed into law by President Barack Obama on July 22, 2014.
How to participate in the program
To receive salary incentives there are two different ways or options: On-the-Job Training or Work Experience. Both require commitment from * of one hundred percent.
*Placement in employment means that the employer must retain the participant in employment for at least one year after the end of the contract.
Benefits for your company
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Provides reimbursement to the employer of up to 75% of the participant’s hourly wage, up to 700 hours for the extra costs of providing the training and additional supervision related to the training.
Employment Experience
Subsidy of 100% of the employee’s salary, up to 500 hours and covers social security fringe benefits and state insurance fund.

AMSI, Inc. is a Social Security Employment Network that in addition to activating the ticket to work, also helps Social Security disability beneficiaries find employment.
