Hello, my name is Jarivel Ortiz Perez. I am of legal age, I live in Naguabo, PR, and I want to tell you a little about how AMSI is changing my life. I have always been an active woman in my work, but since Hurricane Maria, my life has been changing. I had my job at the BD factory, which I lost.
When the unexpected Covid-19 arrived my days were long and boring on the verge of depression, I no longer knew what to do. I was hanging out with my neighbor Joyce Toledo, talking about how we could start a business so we could pay off our debts. I went to an activity with my daughter, where I was handed a flyer mentioning AMSI. As I didn’t know what it was, only that it was to study and help us prepare for the working world. I called and Gabriela Rosario attended me, a very kind person, she gave me an appointment, guided me and supported me. I saw that what I was planning with my neighbor Joyce was not going to remain a dialogue, but that we could make it happen.
I immediately told my neighbor about AMSI and she also contacted Gabriela about studying, and today we are starting to make our plans a reality, thanks to AMSI. Gateway to your future.
