Miguel A. Ramos Torres

Mr. Miguel Ángel Ramos Torres visited our offices in 2017 in search of tools to place himself in a job; due to the fact that he was presenting difficulty for being a recent graduate. We began with the training process aimed at preparing the workforce. All of these were successfully completed and paid off, as he obtained employment, for a period of two years, with Seneca Foods in the United States. In 2020 he returned to Puerto Rico and visited our offices again with the same purpose of being placed in a job. Scheduled interview with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals now Haleon in the town of Guayama, P.R., being selected under the WIOA funds in the salary incentive proposal: Work Experience. This pharmaceutical company is very important in our region, since its facilities produce medicines such as Advil, Centrum, Caltrate, Emergen-C pouch, among others. Upon completion of his 500 hours he was reappointed to the same position, however, this time through our Temporary Employment Services (SET). After two years, Miguel stops by our offices to thank us and give us the good news that he has become a regular employee at Haleon Pharmaceuticals.

Miguel has been a very responsible and outstanding participant. A great example of perseverance and success for our organization.

Good luck Miguel!
