Recognition at the United Retailers’ Center
Reaffirming its commitment to continue offering recruitment solutions for businesses, the Municipal Alliance for Integrated Services, Inc. (AMSI) celebrated its recognition as Entity of the Year by the Centro Unido de Detallistas (CUD).
AMSI is a non-profit entity that provides a variety of employment and training services for youth, adults, veterans and Social Security disability beneficiaries. The organization also offers recruitment solutions for companies throughout Puerto Rico through its various employer programs.
As part of the celebration of Small and Medium Retailer Week in Puerto Rico, the CUD recognized seven outstanding entrepreneurs in various categories. The Entity of the Year Award was enthusiastically received by the Executive Administrator of AMSI, Dr. Joaquín Santiago Santos. “AMSI is proud to receive this distinction from a centennial entity of great trajectory and contribution to business development in Puerto Rico. We are deeply grateful to be recognized by the Board of Directors of the CUD, as well as its President, Lourdes Aponte Rodríguez and its President Elect, Dr. Ramón Barquín III. Likewise, we thank the companies we have had the opportunity to serve and all AMSI collaborators who are part of this ecosystem of services. This year we have reaffirmed our commitment to the CUD and the development of initiatives that support business management and job creation in Puerto Rico,” said Santiago Santos.
“Small and medium-sized businesses are an essential source of opportunities for job creation and to promote economic growth in Puerto Rico. In that direction, entities such as the CUD and AMSI, represent a multiplicity of possibilities for SMEs to connect with services and solutions that can meet their needs. We urge companies in need of recruitment to share their needs with us and benefit from programs such as Temporary Employment Services, Wage Incentives and the Training Lyceum,” added the Executive Administrator of AMSI.
